Dragons
The Dragons are an ancient reptilian race sworn to protect
the humans. As the legend goes, the Dragons were responsible for the
defeat of the last Enslaver, Xu, trapping him in an alternate dimension
and sealing the gate with the mystical Dragon Seal. The Dragons continue
to serve the human race and defend the Seal. The Dragon race itself
lives in Dragon Village, a hundred miles west of Sakura City. There,
the Dragon Elder still dispatches young Dragons on their coming-of-age
journies to the outside world. The Dragons also have several secret
            human liaisons in the cities.

The Komodo Corporation
The largest corporation in Sakura City, the Komodo Corporation
is largely responsible for advanced robotic technology for the military
and other purposes. From the Komodo Skytower, they command an empire
that essentially owns Sakura City. The organization is led by the
ruthless "Old Man" Nakamura, an elderly technocrat that
built the corporation from the ground up and who is kept alive by
Dr. Khan's machines. As the "Old Man" recognizes his own
mortality, he calls upon his son Shen, the heir apparent to the Komodo
Corporation, to break the Dragon Seal. For therein lies Xu, the great
bringer of immortality... or so the legend goes.

The Sakura City Police Enforcers
The Sakura City Police Enforcers (SCPE) are the main police
faction in Sakura City. They are led by Commander Von Gauss. Once
a proud and prosperous government institution, the SCPE has fallen
on hard times due to the heavy influence of the Komodo Corporation.
Because the Komodo financially support Sakura City, the SCPE is prevented
from investigating the criminal practices they are so frequently accused
of, much to the frustration of Von Gauss.
